Oooof, it's already been a week.
We all know the appeal of porn is in no way it's story. Of course, when we watch porn its to see people fuck - or something similar - but, I think that doesn't have to be the only variable. Most people have the attitude that for a porno to be engaging it only has to be stimulating and that's it. I think this is incorrect. Stimulation for it's own sake doesn't really matter, I mean if you really need to jerk off - handmotions and imagination will suffice. In my view, porn is just window dressing - a visual specticle that's mostly unnecessary. Where porn becomes really interesting is when it goes above and beyond the call of duty to be special and have stylish in a way that's beyond what you could probably imagine. Even the most basic amatuer livingroom blowjob should reach at least a decent standard of technical, artistic and empathic quality for it to be something interesting. If those standards aren't met, I start to wonder wether or not all the leg work to make me aroused is being done by the porn or the greasy, grubby section of my brain that spends all day pumping dopamine and reinforcing bad habits.
Imagine if what people concidered the industry standard for hollywood flicks was a guy just dicking around in his house; if the next big budget slasher flick was just a 13-minute clip of someone stabbing meat. Yeah, that would be rediculously boring and no one would care. That's what most porn is like and that's why narrative and story is important in porn, it adds a level of drama that just makes the whole thing better and more interesting.
If people, normal people, were to put more effort into their porn - especially in making the whole thing feel better produced with a respectable level of care and creativity - then pornography as a whole would be a hell of a lot more worthy of your time. In the cases of niech fetish porn or porn with a unique gimmick or something, I can understand how what I'm saying won't apply (after all if this video is the only thing like it then it's gotta be pretty memorable) but, for the vast majority of the porn landscape, things could be a lot better.
